 SACRED

SACRED, is a theatrical endeavor which creatively spreads awareness regarding the fight against Child Sex Trafficking in the Oakland, Bay Area. SACRED will feature the theatrical works of Abolitionist/Artist Regina Evans (Regina's Door) and Poetess/Activist Nicia De'Lovely (Nicia De'Lovely Presents) who will join together to deliver a poetic message of justice ignited for the Sex Trafficked Beloved. The performance will also include an interactive discussion highlighting Artist involvement in the fight against Modern Day Slavery. SACRED is a Regina's Door Production.

 

Abolitionist Regina Y. Evans is an Oakland native and the owner of Regina's Door, an Oakland based social enterprise vintage clothing store which operates as a creative arts healing and sanctuary space for survivors of sex trafficking and young artists. Ms. Evans is a poet, playwright, costumer and performer.

 

Oakland, CA native Nicia De'Lovely is a published Poetess, multifaceted Artist, anti-sexual abuse Activist, spirited Survivor and Entrepreneur. She’s the creative proprietor of Nicia De'Lovely Presents, an independent, grass-root production that makes provocative survivor-based performances for awareness, prevention and healing of sexual violation. Nicia uses her poetry to encourage and empower community.
